SUMMARY:Together\, we inspire
DESCRIPTION:Location: Alif Institute \nAAWSG members have always cherished the camaraderie and sense of community that come from gathering in meaningful ways\, whether through educational presentations\, film screenings\, book club discussions\, or fundraising events. \nIn 1995\, our organization embarked on one of its most ambitious projects\, and our creative members rose to the occasion by organizing luncheon and dinner fundraisers. They came together to cook\, connect\, and contribute\, ultimately supporting a major exhibit that AAWSG successfully brought to life. \nToday\, we are rallying behind an even more important cause: supporting our very own Arab cultural center. No group has worked harder to help establish this center than AAWSG. To continue this vital work\, we’re exploring the idea of hosting regular gatherings at the Alif Institute. Each member would bring a simple dish and contribute a donation in any amount they feel comfortable with. \nWe plan to hold these gatherings every other month\, with all proceeds going directly to support the Alif Institute. \nOur first meeting will be held on Thursday\, November 6\, at 11:00 AM. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
