The Arab American Women's Society of Georgia, Inc., is a non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian, tax-exempt organization. Established in 1985, the society aims at promoting an understanding and appreciation of the Arab culture and ensuring that the Arab American community becomes a recognizable constituent among the diverse communities in Georgia. This is accomplished by various educational means and by cultural interactions with other communities and institutions. In addition, AAWSG participates on a limited basis in charitable activities within and outside the Arab American community.
