Enrichment Programs for Members
1985-present...
One of the society's objectives is to
educate members about issues important
to them as Arab American women. Guest
speakers are invited to talk about
topics ranging from civic issues such as
"The Civil Rights of Women in the U.S.",
to health issues, such as "Women's
Health: a Preventive Approach". In
addition, some programs are coordinated
as group tours to historic sites in
Georgia, arts exhibitions, and other

Providing
Educational Resources
1985-present.
AAWSG developed a number of educational
resources about Arab Americans and the Arab
World. These resources include brochures,
booklets, slides, videos, and posters about
the Arab countries and the Arab culture.
They are valuable tools to our members when
giving presentations in schools and other
institutions.
In addition, AAWSG provides speakers to
lecture or participate in conferences
relating to Arab Americans and to the Arab
culture n the Atlanta area.
